Multi-talented record producer, famously known as Blaq Jerzee teams up with popular Nigerian musician, Tekno to unveil a new hit titled, “One Leg Up”.

The song was officially on November 26, 2020 along with a fascinating music video. The song was written and produced by Blaq Jerzee himself but the visuals was directed by TG Omori.

The video of one leg up was shot in different locations where in some parts of the video, shows Blaq Jerzee and Tekno singing and dancing on top of a bus.

Another location was a room painted and designed with African colours red, yellow, green and black with beautifully looking African ladies dressed in glamorous African prints and decorated with beads around their necks and dancing as well as backing the chorus of the song.


The fashion sense for the music video is really amazing and is receiving big ups from fans and music lovers all over.

Their  creatively mixed pidgin and the Nigerian local language to produce this hit tune. Basically, the song reflects on God’s blessings upon man.

Tekno’s verse can be attributed to how human beings wish their fellow bad luck. He also stressed on the fact that when God blesses you no matter what the enemy does, you are still able to live your life up.

Jerzze’s version also sounds great. Adding up to the main theme of the song, he used best players in the world like, Ronaldo and Lukaku indicating that when God blesses you even those who are best at what they do cannot use their skills and capabilities to defeat you.

Blaq jerzee goes by the real name, Okhuofu Isaih Oshoriameh. Born and raised in Nigeria, Jerzee obtained his tertiary education certificate in Business Administration from Auchi Polytechnic, Edo State in Nigeria.

According to the producer and performing artiste, growing up he admired businessmen and that inspired him to pursue business administration in tertiary.

His passion and desire in music was realised when he was very young as an instrumentalist at church. Fulfilling his dream as a singer and producer, he has produced a lot of songs personally and for Nigerian superstars like Wizkid,

Burnaboy, Tiwa Savage, Don Jazzy and many more. His songs are, “Blow”, “Thankful”, “Arizona”, “Gbese”, “Cover me”, “Ease your mind”, “Mind”, “Kush Love”, “Jam”, “Drop some”, “Kpatata” among others.

Tekno is also a Nigerian singer and songwriter born and raised in Nigeria. He is originally known as Augustine Miles Kelechi. Tekno at age 8, was enrolled in a music school where he learnt how to play a guitar and studied music.


He came into the limelight in 2012 after his debut single, “Holiday” featuring Davido under the record label, K-Money Entertainment.

He continued to work harder following his recognition by the public. he started performing on huge platforms where he was cherished and admired by great personalities including Inyanya and Julius Agu.

In 2013, he signed a contract with the “Made Men Music Group” under the management of Ubi Franklyn.


Whiles working with the group he released a lot of singles like, “Anything” and “Dance”. some of his hit songs include, “Shoki”, “Duro”, “Maria”, “Go Low”, “Mess”, “Maria”, “Pana”, “Wash” and “Yawa”.

After being featured on a couple of songs this year, Ghanaian ace singer and songwriter, Efya has announced her new banger which is set to be realised next month.

The song which is titled, “the one” is a collaboration between Efya and internationally recognised Nigerian singer who is highly admired as “Queen of afrobeats”, Tiwa Savage.

Interestingly, this is a huge collaboration that has been made to serve her fans and the public with a fierce melody during these discouraging times of the covid-19 pandemic to ease their body and soul from the fears.

Efya took to her social media platforms today, asking the public to watch the space as she drops her new song on the 5th of June.

Fellow celebrities and fans across the world have expressed their joy with the two gigantic female artistes putting their beautiful voices in one music.

The team that helped with the production of the song, “the one” is known as Blaq Jerzee.

Efya is also known by her real name, Jane Awindor, is an alumna of the University of Ghana Legon with a first degree in theatre and music. The artiste officially gained public attention in 2008 when she competed in the first edition of the television reality show, stars of the future which she came out second.

Her recognition made her achieve numerous deals and mounted on robust platforms for more exposure.

Since 2008, Efya has produced hits songs and collaborated with colleagues like Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Mr, Eazi, Mugeez, R2bees, Bisa Kdei, etc.

She won Vodafone Ghana Music Awards’ Best Female Vocal Performance award for four consecutive times (2011- 2014) and a lot more.

Highly noted as the queen of afrobeat, Nigerian artiste, Tiwa Savage felt her passion for music around 15 years when she and her family had relocated to the United Kingdom.

She started as a backup vocalist for American singer, Mary Jane Blige, Chaka Khan, Ms Dynamite and the late George Michael, a British singer.

Savage partook in the X-Factor television music reality show in the UK in 2006 and later attended the Berklee College of Music obtaining a certificate in professional music in 2007. She also holds a first-degree certificate in accounting at the University of Kent.

Bahati is a Kenyan gospel musician whose real name is, Kevin Bahati.

He’s a young talented musician who managed to achieved his vision in life despite the despondent experiences he faced in life.

RJZ who is also a producer and an actor brought his A Game on “For Life,” his new record, singer RJZ makes an avid argument about the durability of unconditional love.

The emotive chanteur, who labels his versatile music styles as simply, “Feels,” admits that allowing outside opinion to permeate his relationship could strain the union.

However, he posits on the joint—co-produced by Erby and Jaysynths—which a pair bonded by unconditional love, cannot be broken.

The sentiment is prominent in every line of the song, particularly in the following promise:

“Baby there’s somethings ago do till I die/ Like say ago dey by your side for life.”
