South Africa Responds To FIFA Scandal

South African Sports Minister Fikile Mbalula has responded to the FIFA corruption scandal…Mbalula says neither the South African government nor the local organising committee paid any bribe in its bid to host the 2010 Fifa World Cup…. 

Any payments was not bribes, he also said they have requested  for information from the US authorities on any allegations pointed towards South Africa and they have not had anything thing from USA, with regards to the brief case stashed with $10 million cash.

…South Africa doesn’t want to be stuck between a war between USA and FIFA, the money was for the African continent, the world cup and the broader African diaspora and was used for that  purpose…
