Pere And Maria BBNaija Relationship

Big Brother Naija continues weekly with lots of drama, and mixed emotions as contestants make intriguing and personal revelations.

The house in the past weeks has been exciting and fun with mixed reactions regarding Pere (Pere Egbi) and Maria’s s relationship. Fans are left wondering whether the romantic scenes the two were captured in has something to do with them outside the house.

While some fans wonder, others believe that they wouldn’t be surprised if Pere and Maria (Maria Chike Benjamin) are intimate in real life because they look good together. There were instances where the two were filmed emotionally attached, where the chemistry between them was very strong.

The pair’s relationship was so evident before the rest of the housemates. However, Pere was gradually drawing away from Maria, which seemed strange and out of character, and the housemates realised it and had to inquire why the sudden change towards Maria. He gave few reasons that Maria was indecisive and tried to tarnish his image before the entire housemates by falsely accusing him of what he didn’t do or say. Maria wasn’t forthcoming  about most of the things she said to him, and it was messing up his persona in reality.

Again, he explained that Maria was trying to protect their relationship outside the house by playing the victim to create a positive perception about her in the public’s eyes to protect her relationship outside the house, which was the exact opposite behavior of her—adding that even when they had gotten intimate at some point, Maria came out to deny the fact that they were intimate, which he found annoying.

All these revelations had to pop up because Pere also denied that, the housemates thought he sounded emotionally unstable after Maria’s eviction. He went ahead to tell the housemates that he was trying to know Maria very well. Still, it turned out that Maria wanted to give the world a wrong impression of his personality even though he looks quiet and reserved in the house, which is his real nature.

Following Maria’s eviction, Pere has been acting soberly and was spotted dancing alone even at the house party on Friday and Saturday, making it so obvious that Maria’s absence affects him emotionally.

According to various reports from the house, Pere is now finding it difficult to connect with the rest of the female housemates. This is because Pere disclosed that Maria was the reason he couldn’t associate himself with any female because she was upset with him anytime he attempted despite acting like she didn’t care. Since he didn’t want to hurt her feelings, he had to maintain his loyalty.

That’s why he’s changed suddenly and was captured dancing alone since Maria had always been his dancing partner. Yet, Maria has relentlessly stated she doesn’t want to be friends with Pere outside the house. Though fans are saying they do look good together, it’s isn’t easy because they both have a relationship outside the BBNaija House.

A much as fans don’t want Pere to be evicted from the house, they believe he’s not very happy since Maria was evicted. Maria seems to have won the hearts of many. That is why even after weeks of her eviction, she is the most talked about contestant among the 15 evicted from the house fans are still talking about.

We can’t wait to see what happens when Pere is out of the house 🤔 . Do think Pere And Maria will be reunite as platonic friends?

Galamsey Fight Gets Result: Ankobra River Regenerates its Natural Ecology

The Inter-Ministerial Committee on illegal Mining (ICMI) is coming up with the expected result lately as the one-time most polluted river, Ankobra river claimed its old glory, thanks to the years of unwavering threat of galamsey. The popular river became a centre of attraction for galamsey after a long mismanagement as the indispensable river housed many pollutants such as Mercury and other chemicals to render the river unsafe for the residents around.

However, it was gathered that a journalist recently visited the river bank only to realize that the Ellebelle District River has regained its natural ecology owning to a halt that was put to mining in the environment. The usually muddy river is now clearer and much less muddy.

This sudden change was felt by the residents and they can’t but appreciate the efforts of the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining to successfully lock horns with galamsey.  The residents’ major occupation is fishing and they claim to have a better river again. Joseph Ndede, a fisherman in the nearby community confirmed that the river has regained its old appearance as it has been very clean and clear in recent weeks.

Galamsey Fight Gets Result In 2021

He further expressed his happiness as a fisherman because higher turnover is expected in cleaner and clearer water. The added that the president’s deep interest in ensuring a clean river is worth commending and hopes the president never relent in his galamsey menace fight campaign. The river has since served the community and neighborhood in their daily water needs.

In an attempt to appreciate the efforts of the ICMI, another fisherman, Emmanuel Ackerson also expressed his satisfaction in the new look of Ankobra river as he was dissatisfied with the illegal mining scale that has consistently polluted the water body in the past decades. He added that the community was deprived of pure water due to the heavy pollution of water table. Ghana Water Company ran out of water treatment at the time and decided to look away out of deep frustration. However, the galamsy fight has helped in many ways such as; access to clean water by the community, regeneration of the lost water treatment plants and improved the economy by a rapid increase in the quantity and quality of harvested fish from the river.

The ICMI plans to wage war against other abused rivers to guarantee safe environments for the people of the country and we hope the campaign begin as early as possible..

-The Richest Country in Africa 2021

The African continent remains the second-largest continent after Asia and the second most populated continent, with an estimated population of 1.8 billion. Africa is blessed with substantial natural resources, from plantations, minerals, water bodies, oil, and gas.

The continent’s economy is mainly dependent on agriculture, trade, and natural resources. However, it’s regarded as a country with rich natural resources but with its residents being the poorest in the world according to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita. Many of the countries in Africa are wallowing in extreme poverty, looking at World Bank’s economic indicators for poverty.

Despite all the unstable economic nature widely known by the world, some African countries have emerged on top of their economic development index.

Countries like Nigeria, Egypt, South Africa, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Algeria, Morocco, Angola, and Kenya, which is not in any particular order but according to the projections from International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank, the aforementioned African countries are deemed wealthy based on the rate of their GDPs.

On top of these countries is Nigeria, which is regarded as the richest country in Africa. As per African Celebs, it’s currently having an estimated GDP of 514.049 billion US dollars which is the highest among all the African countries as of 2021. Nigeria is also the most populous county in Africa, with its population revolving around 211 million. Its vast population may have contributed to its large economy in Africa.

The Richest Country in Africa 2021

The country is endowed with rich culture, natural resources, industries, and productive film industry, resulting in its emergence in the global market. Ranking on top in Africa’s economy, the country has also been ranked number 27 in the world based on its GDP figures and 25 in the world by its purchasing power parity (PPP).

The country’s economy has been the fastest-growing one from its petroleum industry since the latter parts of 1960. The increase in price in the petroleum sector contributed to the rise in the economy since the country is notable for its leadership in oil production. It helped in transportation, manufacturing, communication, technology, construction, and government services.

However, the country is ranked low for its Human Development Index (HDI) because the agricultural sector has become stagnant. Most of its rural residents who focused on primary agriculture relocated to the urban areas, with corruption erupting in the country since the 90s. Today few people occupying about one-fifth of the population make a living from agricultural production. Due to the increasing population, the land has deteriorated with inferior silos and restrictions imposed on the size of farmlands accessible to families.

Dealing with the agricultural instability, the country’s government decided to make serval state-owned enterprises owned by private individuals. The communication, power, and transportation sectors were entrusted in the hands of private stakeholders, which enhanced quality services and began running smoothly and successfully with less dependence on the government.

Although Nigeria has been facing fluctuations in its oil production, it has been able to keep up with the global economy. It’s not surprising that Aliko Dangote, who is famously known as the richest person in Africa, is from Nigeria.
