Harry And Meghan Markle’s Statement – Haiti And Afghanistan Devastation

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex put their voices together in a statement released concerning the current state of the world in light of Haiti and Afghanistan devastation.

Expressing their concerns,  the royal couple, the world is now in precarious situation looking at the various ongoing mishappenings. They said in the statement that they’re short of words as they observe the anguish situation in Afghanistan now.

Adding that, they feel devastated looking at the ordeal caused on the residents of Haiti following the back-to-back catastrophe that has taken over thousands of people to their grave early and rendered the country homeless amid the global battle against the deadly coronavirus.

They went on to say that, the appalling situations now makes the world a scary place to live now because as social beings when a person or a community goes through hardship, its affect the everyone indirectly.

Hence, they asked the world to put their values in action by “being each other’s keeper”. As a result, the couple through their humanitarian organisation will be joining hands with other organisations to support the miserable condition in Haiti following the misfortune that has befallen them and rampage of the Taliban in Afghanistan.

They as well called on humanitarian organisations and global influencers to support the course by channelling discussions into humanitarian action at various conferences and gatherings such as the U.N. General Assembly and the G20 Leaders’ Summit.

In conclusion, they reminded the global community that proving their humanity is contingent on the decision they take now in helping to ease the stage of suffering among people.

The statement has been deemed as very thoughtful and touching by a lot of people and has called for positive feedback especially from netizens.

On Sunday, various media outlets reported on the current issue in Afghanistan. The news gave account on how the fundamentalist group, Taliban seized power in Afghanistan firing gunshots all over when the president had travelled out of the country.

The fear of uncertain future and challenges has caused a lot of Afghans  to flee from the country.

Haiti on the other hand was hit by another earthquake which has killed over 700 of its citizens. The country has been declared a state of emergency as people left homeless and helpless.

This is not the first time Haiti has been hit by such an earthquake.

The Duchess of Sussex was born in Los Angeles, California on August 04, 1981. She went through primary and secondary school education at the Hollywood Little Red Schoolhouse and Immaculate Heart High School. She was then enrolled in Northwestern University in Illinois where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in theatre and international studies.

Before venturing into acting as a full-time profession, Meghan Markle had to support herself financially by engaging in petty trading as a bookbinding consultant and freelance calligrapher because she encountered difficulties in getting assigned to movie roles since she had an unstable ethnicity.

However, she was able to work her way through and make her debut television appearance in the American daytime series, the General Hospital which she played a scene as a nurse. Congratulations are in order!  Prince Harry and wife, Meghan Markle has welcomed their newborn child. The good news comes three months after the couple disclosed the gender in an interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The royal couple made it known to the world today on their website, they expressed their joy of giving birth to their second child and a daughter making a complete family of four!

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have welcomed a baby girl, Lilibet ‘Lili’ Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, born on Friday June 4 and weighed 7 lbs 11 oz.

This is the couple’s second child, They already have a 2 year old son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. 

It was revealed to the public that the initial name of their daughter, “Lli” was named after Her Royal Majesty, the Queen of England who is affectionately called “Lilibet” by her family members. Her second name, Diana was also given to her in honour of the late Princess Diana, her grandmother.

Both Meghan Markle and Lilibet Diana are doing well. To God Be The Glory! This is the first daughter and second child for both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Miscarriage and fear of pregnancy after miscarriage is every woman’s worst nightmare

Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle has penned down special essay about experiencing a miscarriage in the month of July to the New York times.

Meghan expressed the awful pain she had to go through with his husband as she recounts the sad incident.

She wrote that one early morning in the month of July, when she was changing her son Archie’s diapers, she felt a sharp pain which made her fall on the floor whilst holding her son in her arms.

She said she started humming to Archie and herself to calm both of them down little did she know there was going to be a sad story afterwards and that was when she lost her unborn child.

 

Meghan describes how she found herself at the hospital lying in bed with her husband Prince Harry by her side both in tears and wondered  how they would get over such an unbearable pain.

Duchess of Sussex, also highlighted  miscarriages among women and the suffering they go through on such a shattering experience.

Meghan asserted that there are a lot of women who go through miscarriages but refuse to talk about it because it brings back the pain and this reason has made miscarriages been less talked about and that has hindered the needed support for women who go through such heart-breaking ordeal.

The Duchess has once again emphasised on society’s inability to help people come out of unbearable pain by just asking if someone is “Ok”.

She further explained that the process of healing starts by asking each other “are you ok” like the famous host and journalist, Tom Bradby asked if she was “ok” in 2019 during the days she was filming a documentary in south Africa.

She urged people around the world to make it a daily routine by asking each other, “are you ok”.

Guess who is coming to Disney+. next month?

On Thursday March 26, 2020, Disney revealed on twitter its upcoming documentary on elephants which will begin showing from April 03 2020 on Disney+.

This will be her first movie role following Meghan and Harry’s decision to quit royal duties, live independently and focus on their charitable institution.

However, the announcement followed a video surfacing on the internet, showing Prince Harry engaging the former Disney boss Bob Iger in a conversation during the lion king premier in London in 2019.

Nonetheless, following the recent decision made by Prince Harry and Meghan, letting go of royal duties, live an independent life and to work on their own, has certainly given an end to their royal statuses.

Hence, a date has been set for the Prince and his wife, as their last day to be recognised as working members of the royal family in Britain, which happens to be March 31, 2020.

The speaker of Harry and Meghan disclosed some few engagements, the couple would perform in the UK before they officially back off from royal duties.
