Bahati is a Kenyan gospel musician whose real name is, Kevin Bahati.
He’s a young talented musician who managed to achieved his vision in life despite the despondent experiences he faced in life.
Bahati developed his passion for music during his senior high school days where he used to represent his school in musical concerts.
Around 2013, he released his first song titled, “Siku Ya Kwanzu”. The single became a hit, received massive airplay and won him the coveted New Gospel artist of the year, Groove Awards 2013 honored by President Uhuru Kenyatta. That was Bahati’s discovery into a renowned status.
Bahati later worked together with some colleagues in the industry and came out with songs like, “Machozi”, “Barua”, “Story Yangu”, “Itakua Sawa”, “Kuchu Kuchu” among others.
His hard work and determination has given him the platforms to inspire people around the world with his music.
Some of the awards he has received since he started music include, Best Male Artist Groove Awards, Best Male Video Kenya Pulse Awards and Best Gospel Act Africa AFRIMMA Awards.
Bahati also gives back to the community through
Following his fame, he decided to embark on a project for children with disabilities known as, Disabled Children Monitor (DCM). This foundation was established to support parents of children with disability in order to take care of them.
He also founded a recording studio called, the EMB Records to help the up and coming talented young people interested in doing music.
