Meek Mill, a popular American rapper, has arrived in Ghana after repeatedly promising to visit Africa and perform before the end of the year. The rapper made this news on his YouTube channel yesterday ahead of his performance at AfroNation.
Today, December 29th, Tiwa Savage, P-Square, Kuami Eugene, Gyakie, Oxlade, and others are scheduled to play, but American rap sensation Meek Mill will make his debut at the event. Artists including Davido, Stonebwoy, P-Square, Rema, Black Sherif, CKay, Gyakie, Camidoh, KiDi, Asake, and many more will be performing throughout the course of the two-day festival.
Thousands of people will visit AfroNation Ghana to rediscover their roots in the country. As the world’s largest and most successful Afrobeats festival, Afro Nation is coming back to its roots after its 2019 premiere.
Over two days, the festival will not only include well-known musicians from the worldwide diaspora but also provide attendees an opportunity to learn more about the continent and cultures that have impacted the arts and people’s identities worldwide.
A wide variety of today’s most popular African and diaspora acts will be performing at the event. The organizers have already announced some major stars for the festival’s big comeback.
After the raging success of the Portugal beach event this summer and the first concert in the United States in Puerto Rico in March, Afro Nation is back with another edition.
