In a highly anticipated move, the S-Inkoom Football Management Agency made its grand entrance on the scene on October 28, 2023, amidst much fanfare at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra.
At the launch event held last Saturday in Accra, Samuel Inkoom, the driving force behind this innovative agency, spoke passionately about the importance of understanding contracts before any player puts pen to paper. He emphasized, “I want them to understand the contract itself and if the contract would benefit them or not, and that is why I used my career as an example that before you sign a contract, you must seek advice or talk to a lawyer for you to understand what you are signing, and that is the main reason why I launched this agency.” Inkoom, now serving as the agency’s CEO, believes in empowering athletes to make informed decisions about their careers.
The launch event garnered praise from eminent figures in Ghana’s sports arena. In a show of solidarity, Ghana’s Sports Minister, Mustapha Ussif, and former Black Stars midfielder and U20 World Cup Winner, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, lent their support to Inkoom’s latest endeavor. Anthony Baffoe, General Secretary of the Professional Writers Association of Ghana, Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe, Chairman of Accra Hearts of Oak, Frank Nelson Nwokolo, and others were all present to celebrate the launch.
