Nigerians and their love for Arsenal have been a tight and undisputable one. Just like most Ghanaians love Chelsea because of Micheal Esien, most indigenes of Nigeria have developed an undying love for the English team, which is based on the presence of Nigerian first-class footballers like Nwankwo Kanu, Alex Iwobi, Chuba Akpom, and currently the likes of Arthur Okwonkwo, Ovie Ejeheri, Tokaji Adeyinka, Mazeed Ogungbo, Tim Akinola, among several Nigerian young talents.
