His debut album was a commercial success, solo hit “The One.” He is currently trending with his collaborative work with the Congolese artist Fally Ipupa on a song called Inama. Diamond is a dedicated Muslim and a strong supporter of Tanzania’s ruling party CCM, for which he even recorded a song called CCM Tusonge Mbele (CCM Let’s Move Forward).
He initially married the Ugandan businesswoman Zari Hasan and has had two children from this marriage. There were many speculations that he had an affair with the Tanzanian model Hamisa Mobeto.
